I grew up in Marblehead where my parents Ron and Deb Miller still live. I am really close to them as well as my four siblings. My sister Amanda lives in Holland, MI with her husband Matt and my nephews Teddy and Augie. My three brothers all live in Sandusky; Joe, who teaches and coaches at Port Clinton High School; Daniel, who is married to Kylie and who teaches and coaches at Sandusky St. Mary’s High School; and David, who works for Cintas. I try to see my parents and siblings as much as I can!

I went to Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Port Clinton, Sandusky St. Mary’s for Junior High & High School, and Xavier University in Cincinnati for college, where I studied philosophy. Tennis was always a huge part of my life, and I played college tennis at Xavier.

After a year of working and grad school, I entered the seminary for the Diocese of Toledo. I received my seminary formation at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary of the West in Cincinnati and earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. I was ordained a priest on June 22, 2013, so I celebrated my 12th anniversary of priesthood just a few weeks ago.

After ordination, I was assigned to St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mansfield, OH. I spent four wonderful years there, ministering at the parish, school, and prisons. In 2017, I was assigned as the Parochial Vicar of Blessed Sacrament Parish and Corpus Christi University Parish in Toledo. For one year, I was serving at both parishes. In July of 2018, I was named the Pastor of Corpus Christi University Parish. I have been serving there as pastor for the last seven years. I loved my time there, ministering both to the college students and the non-student parishioners and being a part of the Toledo Rocket community!

In my free time, I enjoy sports (especially tennis, basketball, and golf), playing music on the guitar, reading, and boating.

In Christ,

Fr. Jeremy
